Reality bites... especially the first morning back to work after being on vacation. Last week my fiance and I started our trip visiting friends and drinking lots of wine in Santa Barbara, and then made our way down to Los Angeles for a night with friends and  finally a wedding. So, now you can probably tell why I've been MIA for the past week - but I'm back to blogging!

I wore Young Fabulous & Broke's black jumpsuit for (semi)casual dinner and drinks in L.A.. It's not only super comfortable jersey, but the wide legs make it flattering without being frumpy. Sometimes I put a wide belt with it to peak out under the looser strapless top, but on this occasion I went belt free. I actually love it so much I'm thinking of buying it in grey as well. If strapless styles aren't for you check out this one that has the same shape but a little more coverage up top.

The best thing about a black jumpsuit is that it acts as a perfect base so you can accessorize to your heart's content, which is exactly what I did:) I started with my Samudra Shark Pouch which is large enough to carry whatever you may need and is an instant conversation starter. I also love Samudra's sunset print and feather print canvas clutches.

For jewelry I layered on my favorites - this knuckle ring, my mom's bracelet from the '70s and an Alexis Bittar bracelet, a shark tooth necklace and some punk princess rhinestone ear cuffs
