Every season I invest in one or two items that immediately go into heavy rotation in my closet. This fall it has been Equipment's silk plaid blouse. You may remember it from this post, where I paired it with a leather midi skirt. I'll admit I wavered on purchasing it at first wondering if I could really justify spending $200 on a plaid shirt, but it has been worth every penny. I wear it for work, on the weekends, and may even sport it to the Lucky FABB conference this week. It is one of those tops that mixes a casual print with a flattering cut and luxe material to create the perfect multifunctional clothing item.
This particular work day I battled the windy San Francisco skies with an army green coat from Wallis (another of my favorite pieces of the season!) I added a statement necklace for a little bling and my mirrored sunnies to battle the sun. I like to call the look corporate casual goes hunting ;)
